It's full name is Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne. It's part of the main Shin Megami Tensei Series in Japan. Of the actual Shin Megami Tensei's, There are two on the super nintendo that never made it here: Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2, and Nocturne for ps3. The latest is Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, which has been confirmed to be the fourth in the series. Nocturne actually is the oddity rather than the norm because it did so many things differently.
But I love it for those reasons too. If you mean a game like Nocturne then it's not likely, unfortunately. But at the same time, at least Nocturne stays unique unlike other games where they run with the same concepts sequel after sequel and ruin it. But yeah, my all-time favorite SMT and one my most favorite video games, period. Hi, thanks for the reply!! Yes, I do mean a sequel to Nocturne III, and I am aware that it is the third installment of the series.
The same could be said for my other favorite game, Devil Summoner, which the first two were never released here either. I agree with you this game is very unique, and in some instances, re-doing a game can also ruin it, but Atlus Japan has proven time again, that they only make their games better, with the exception of digital devil saga 2, which to me, was a dissapointment. I also think nocturne was perfect, but would absolutely LOVE to see this again, with the same concept, the same darkness, on the playstation 3. I love Nocturne so much, that I even have the copy of devil summoner 2 maniax chronicle edition with raidou as Dante, unopened as I cannot speak the language, and I had my boyfriends friend bring it back from Japan for me. Well, I am happy to see other people have such great taste in gaming and absolutely love this great game like you do too!! Hi, thanks for the reply!!
